Larry Joe Starling, 80, of Denwood, AR passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Methodist University in Memphis, TN.
He was born on July 13, 1942 in Joiner, AR to William and Irma Starling.
Larry was a local farmer in his young life and he owned a construction company that he ran along side his sons, Jackie and Jeffrey, for more than 40 years. Larry was a man of faith and shared his love of Christ with his wife, Dixie. He loved to cheer on his Razorbacks, no matter which sport. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending any time he could with his family.
Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dixie Starling; daughter, Cheryl Starling of Collierville, TN; son, Jackie Starling of Judsonia, AR; son, Jeffrey Starling and his wife, Joy of Shawnee, OK; brother, Donald Wayne Starling and his wife, Paulette of Guntown, MS; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Starling of Marion, AR, Amber House and her husband, Brandon House of Memphis, TN, Jake Starling of Marion, AR, and Autumn Starling of Marion, AR; one great granddaughter, Sarah James House of Memphis, TN. He also had an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Irma Starling; brothers, Billy, George and Bob and sisters, Jean and Ann.
Services will be held at Trumann First Pentecostal Church in Trumann, Arkansas on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11AM followed by a funeral service at 12PM. The burial will take place at Louise Cemetery in Joiner, Arkansas.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. - 2 Timothy 4:6-8
