Mozelle Whitley Gunter, 93, of Conway passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023. She was born June 2, 1929 in Conway to the late Emmett Lee and Kathreen Ann Springer. Mozelle was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. In 1992 Mozelle retired from Kimberly Clark after many years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, spending time with her family and watching her favorite team, the Arkansas Razorbacks. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elbert Lee Whitley; 2nd husband, G.W. Gunter; daughter, Barbara Herring; grand-daughter, Rania Herring Ellis; brother, John Springer and two sisters, Polly Satterfield and Jane Hughes.
Mozelle is survived by her sons, Dennis Whitley and Eddie (Karen Fisher) Whitley; grandchildren, Jeremy Whitley, Jason (Melanie) Whitley, April Whitley York, Jacob Whitley, Russel Herring; many great-grandchildren; brother, Emmett Springer; sisters, Rosy Shirley and Virginia Ausbrooks and many more family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Roller McNutt with Burial following at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
