of North Little Rock, AR
October 30, 1985 - April 13, 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of Kasi Donyell Smith Eastridge of Maumelle, Arkansas, on April 13, 2023. Kasi is survived by her mother and father, Tami and Donald Eastridge; two brothers, Daniel Smith and Craig Eastridge, and numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.
Kasi was born and lived with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. At birth, her life expectancy was short so every day with us was a blessing from God as she outlived doctors' expectations. Kasi always carried a happy disposition and remained positive throughout her life. Kasi's smile was magic. No matter how bad of a day someone was having she would reach out with a comforting hand and warm everyone's heart. There is no one who has met Kasi who would forget her.
Kasi was a graduate of Oak Grove High School where she excelled, being on the honor roll and winning awards for science. Kasi had many teachers, speech and occupational therapists, and caregivers who helped make her time in school possible.
Kasi was an avid country music fan and loved fireworks, dancing, and swimming. Kasi would want all of us to celebrate, not mourn her passing. She did not like seeing people sad. Kasi had a very close relationship with God. She would want us all to live our lives for Jesus so we will all be together in Heaven.
There will be a Graveside service at 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Organization.
Momma misses you my sweet baby girl. I know you are now able to do everything you were unable to do here on earth. God took you out of the wheelchair and straight to Heaven where I know you're now running, talking and doing everything you could only imagine here. I love & miss you more than life itself but I have to wait until I finish God's plan for me here. Thank you for your 37 years of always making me smile.
Kasi has graduated to a new disease free life in Heaven. She is healthy and happy and waiting for her family to join her someday.
I pray for healing and blessings on her family.
I know Miss Kasi is running the streets of Gold. No longer tied to the wheelchair. Tami and Don I am so sorry for your loss. I know your heart is breaking and will always be broken. Be still and know I am God. Tami God has not brought you this far to drop you on your head. Love you BFF
