Joseph Edwin ''Ed'' Dunlap, 76, of Conway, Arkansas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
He was born on March 31, 1947 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Harrell ''Tony'' and Mary Alice (Howell) Dunlap. He graduated from UAMS School of Pharmacy in 1971. He worked as a Pharmacist at Skaggs-Alpha Beta and Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He retired from Baptist Hospital in 2009. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Conway for many years, where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Genesis Sunday School Class. He enjoyed serving in the food pantry at the church.
He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music. The highlight of his year was attending Mallettown Church Homecoming and Dunlap Family reunions.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shelia Elizabeth (Bowie) Dunlap of Conway; his children, Vincent & Tonya Dunlap of St. Louis, and Elizabeth Dunlap of Conway; grand-children, Colvin and Brecken Dunlap of St. Louis and nephew, Thomas ''Hud'' Dunlap. He is also survived by siblings-in-law, Buneva & Bob Clark, Wilda & Keith Head and Alvin & Debbie Bowie; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas Kelly Dunlap.

Visitation will be 6-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Central Baptist Church in Conway, with graveside service to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the food pantry at Central Baptist Church (3333 Dave Ward Drive, Conway AR 72034).

So sorry to hear of your loss .The case & Dunlap family grew up in the same neighborhood for years Jist seems almost like yesterday. Where has time gone Eddie was of chirstian faith and a prime example of that true faith .May the good lord wrap his arms around the entire family during this time of sorrow.

Eddie will be greatly missed at Mallettown. He was loyal and loved his family and continued to keep us all in contact with each other. We love you and know that he is going to be missed his contagious laughter and fun personality will always be remembered as a light of the world. Hugs and prayers to each of you all.

I'm absolutely heartbroken and devastated by the loss of my best friend. It was a friendship that endured for five and a half decades. Ed was the best man at my wedding and continued to be one of the best men I've ever known throughout his life. I will miss him dearly.
