Michael Otis Roberts, 71, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on April 2, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1951 to Otis Roberts and Beulah V. Cheek Roberts.
Mike received a bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Arkansas. He worked for Memphis Environmental Center, Inc, in Memphis, Tennessee, as well as owning and operating Delta Chimney Sweep in West Memphis, Arkansas, for 40 years.
Mike loved playing disc golf, spending time with his family and his dog, and showing off his mineral collection. He was a runner, bowler and enjoyed car shows and museums.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother and father and son, Blake Shelton, of West Memphis, Arkansas.
Mike is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Roberts; sons, Drew Roberts (Christian) of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Jared Shelton (Mandi) of Brandon, Mississippi; daughter, Samantha Pittman (Andrew) of Crawfordsville, Arkansas; grandchildren, James Michael Roberts, Caleb Roberts, Gavin Roberts, Allysa Lacefield, Brayden Lacefield, Talan Moss, Sophie Shelton, Blakely Shelton, Jax Shelton, Savannah Shelton, Laylan Parnell, Drake Purcell, Serenity Purcell and Clarissa Clay; brothers, Rick Roberts of West Memphis, Arkansas and Steve Roberts of Somerville, Tennessee and sister, Betty Roberts of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
Services for Mike will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis, Arkansas in the Chapel. Visitation will start at 9:30 AM. A memorial service will follow at 10 AM in the Chapel as well.

To my sister, Bobbie, Drew, Sam, Jared and all of the grands, your husband dad papaw was a wonderful man. He not only loved his immediate family, he loved his extended family. He took my mom and dad into his and Bobbies house after my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Mike not only worked every day building his business Delta Chimney Sweep, but would come home so tired and still take of my dad and moms needs. My sister ill with MS, he has always taken care of her every need until the last couple of years. It was hard when he got sick himself. He was always the caregiver, to mom and dad to Bobbie all of his kids and grandkids he devoted all his spare time to and they loved him dearly. You can’t replace a man like Mike Roberts, my brother in law, you hold on to all the memories he has left us with. You reminisce about all the fun times you had together, you love and rescue animals like he did. You will never be forgotten my brother… You will always be remembered! Drew, Bobbie, Sam, Jared and the gang, know how much he loved you all! Never forget…. Aunt Ava
