Michael Delane Westmoreland, age 65, was called home to the Lord on the morning of March 28, 2023 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. Michael was born on December 15, 1957 in Memphis, TN and was a resident of Memphis, TN at the time of his passing.

Michael, also known as Mike by many, was a brilliant and talented man who endeavored many occupations and businesses during his lifetime. However, the occupation he loved the most was following in his own father's footsteps, being a meat butcher. Mike retired from the industry in 2007, with his last employment as a butcher with Kroger.

Mike was loved by many. He had an infectious laugh that would fill up any room. He loved his friends, family and the Lord with tenacity. Mike leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Tracy Baggett Westmoreland and his 4 children, Tony Westmoreland (Stephanie) of Memphis, TN, Brandon Westmoreland (Destin) of Senatobia, MS, Megan Westmoreland Vaughn (Clint) of Kilmichael, MS and Amber Westmoreland of Memphis, TN. Mike has 9 grandchildren he also leaves behind who affectionately refer to him as ''Papa''; 2 sisters, Carolyn Westmoreland Duffield of Nashville, TN and Joyce Westmoreland Allen (Jere) of Mountain Home, AR; 3 nephews, who were more like brothers to him; nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Mike was preceded in death by his two parents, James Delane Westmoreland and Juanita Fay Bickerstaff Westmoreland and his sister, Carol Westmoreland.

A graveside service for Mike will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00pm at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas with arrangements being made by Roller Funeral Home. Bill Baggett will preside over the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael's name to the American Heart Association.
