You girls were the apple of your Daddy’s eye. What an awesome blessing to have been loved by such beautiful Christian parents who loved the Lord and taught that same love to each of you girls.
I loved your Dad for he reminded me so much of my own Daddy- his smile and greeting left me feel like I was not far from home. So warm and inviting.
My prayer is that God showers you all with blessings and a love to be carried by those who had the pleasure of knowing Mr Royce. Blessings- Denise
Royce and Peggy moved into the Meyer Road/Shelia neighborhood and were always so friendly and happy. We walked the roads a lot in our younger years and had conversation. They were both great people. You could tell by their actions and conversation their love for the Lord. I am sure it will be a wonderful homecoming for Royce.
So sorry for your loss. Mr Gable was such a kind man
It was a pleasure to know Royce. Always with a smile & encouraging words. When you were around him, you knew he was a Christian.
I’m so sorry you have lost both parents. I lost my mom last year and I miss her so much. Your mom and dad were the best role models for me when we were growing up. My prayers are with you and your family!
Bro. Royce was the father of one of my best friends, Sandy, when we were growing up at Antioch Church. He was such a kind Christian man, husband and father! I know he will be missed so much.
Sending love and prayers to his girls, and to all the grandkids and great- grandkids. 🥰
To my cousins: Sandy, Gina & Lisa, I know how hard it is to say Goodbye to your Dad, and what an incredible man he was, especially with your Mom, my most loved family, and my Mom too loved the “Grables”!!! He is in Heaven with a big reunion party❣️
Mr Grable has gone on to be with our Lord and Savior but our prayers go out to all the family for your loss of a great man. May God give everyone comfort.
When I married into a family at Antioch, Royce, Peggy, and the Grable’s were the first to make me feel welcome. Over the years I was blessed to serve with Royce as deacon and trustee. I always valued his advice and counsel. He was a great example of what a Christian father, husband, and man should be.
Mr. Royce epitomized what it is to live your faith out loud. He was kind, loving, and always ready to serve God and his church. I’m thankful to have witnessed his life as a friend of this sweet family. May we all be a little more like Mr. Royce! I pray for each of you left here to miss him and pray you hold tight to all he was, his legacy lives on in each of you.
I was blessed to have worked with Royce at Roller Funeral Homes. He was always friendly and professional; and I consider him a friend, as well as a coworker. He and Peggy were always a pleasure to be around.
Our sincere condolences are extended to Royce’s family and all those who loved him.

I will miss this man. Most loveable, considerate, caring uncle I could have ever asked for. Give Aunt Peggy and my mommy a hug.
Dear friends, your departed loved one has been my friend for sixty years. We first meet when I was an offset pressman for Bogard Press in Texarkana. Royce worked for Junkin Chemical in LR and called on us frequently. He made such a great impression on me. A quiet, humble Christian man. That respect never changed. Love and prayers, Muncy Harris
