I just came across this news today and feel so shocked and saddened to see this. Richard and I worked at Dillard's Travel for many years and he was kind enough to dog sit at my house on several occasions. I considered him a good friend even though we hadn't kept in touch as often as I wish we had. RIP my friend. So sorry Emily and Abby. God Bless

Well I've known Richard (Homeboy) for over 30 years. There's so much to say about our friendship and good times we had together. As his obituary says he liked Darts, Bowling and Golf. I was lucky enough to be a part of all of those with him. Jan and I were so fortunate we got to spend a week together on cruise to Mexico last December. He loved Costa Maya and the golf cart ride to the beach. I'll miss his smile, friendship and that little bit of sarcasm. I knew if I ever needed him, he would always be there. AND one of his favorite sayings "Peace Brother".

Richard was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He was so authentic, interesting and smart. I loved having a conversation with him because I always learned something new. And what a sharp sense of humor! I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with him in December on the cruise to Mexico.

He always made me feel welcome as part of his family and their celebrations.

He was such a great dad to his two beautiful daughters. He was so proud of them. I will miss him terribly.

Condolences to the family , our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are sorry to hear about Richard's passing. Richard and I are the same age and only two weeks apart and he would tease me and call me old lady because I was the oldest. I am glad to know him for many years.

Richard was the best supervisor I have ever had. He truly believed in me and would tell me all the time how proud he was and how great I was doing with Arvest. He was so encouraging to all of us and never judged us for our flaws. He wanted us to do what we wanted and was there to support us through it all. Not seeing him walk through the door with his sunglasses on, a bag in hand, and a peace sign in the other, is hard, but I know he is at peace and still will be with us in our hearts. My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.

I was so very saddened upon hearing this devastating news! I personally ALWAYS called him Richard. My last 3 years of high school were NEVER boring and I believe it was because I had 3 of the best buddies EVER! Tom Flynn, Richard and Bob. Not lying were they funny, but they were extremely bright and witty. They were very protective of me because I was married to my husband(Randy) . Since he had already graduated, the 3 cousins made sure they had my back! We had a blast. I lost touch with em as many do once they graduate high school and only reconnected with Bob about 4 yrs ago. He was living in California and recently passed away as well. Prayers for their families and friends. They were really some of the BEST FRIENDS EVER!!!🙏🙏✌️✌️

Sad to hear this news. I have known Richard for a very long time. Played several rounds of golf, many cookouts and a billion laughs. A man that truly loved his girls and was always proud of them. Rest in piece my friend. Forever will the days be warm, tees be soft, greens be fast, brews be cold.

Richard is a valuable member of our family. We loved him and knew what a wonderful Dad, Son and friend he was to all.
As his Mother in law I always appreciated how he kept his little family together and made sure he was there for them no matter what. Even though he and Misty divorced
Years ago, neither even re-married and always had bond and raised their girls together to be fine young ladies.
We will miss you forever, Richard.

I am so grateful for Emily who has shared with me our last texts. Yes, I unknowingly deleted them. My condolences to everyone. You will never be forgotten. I'll always have the rose garden.
