Kenneth Ike Strickland Sr., 70, of Bee Branch, Arkansas was born on January 9, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late James and Nellie Mae (Clark) Strickland and passed from this life on March 6, 2023 surrounded by his adoring wife and family. He was a very dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a very strong testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ and his Heavenly Father. Kenneth was always a cowboy at heart, he loved the rodeo and watching movies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, several siblings and one grandson, Angus Ray Williams.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 50 years, Sue Strickland; six children, Suenell Weighill (Donald), Ike Strickland (Sara), Joe Strickland (Andrea), Lori Strickland, Heidi Williams, Spencer Strickland; twenty-six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Liz Smith (George), Joy Ward; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6556 Heber Springs Road West, in Quitman, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Pine Mountain Cemetery.
