Edith Dorene Rohrsheib Johnson passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 of natural causes to be with her heavenly Father. Edith was born on Saturday, September 1, 1934 to her parents, John E. and Sarah E. Rohrsheib.

She had two brothers, Roger Rohrscheib and Don Rohrsheib of Huntsville, Alabama.

She spent her childhood in Batesville, Arkansas. After high school, Edith moved to West Helena, Arkansas to make a home with her husband, Johnnie Johnson, who preceded her in death.

She worked many years at Merchants and Farmers Bank where she made many friends.

Edith will be missed by all.

A graveside service for Edith Dorene Rohrsheib Johnson will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Kenny Lee will officiate.

Don, so sorry about Dorene. Dorene and Johnnie were members of Cleburne Avenue Presbyterian church with Joe Tom and I. We loved them both dearly. We were still exchanging Christmas cards every year whenever we could with Dorene so we could keep up with each other. I knew she would have been saddened to know joe passed away on Feb 3. Now they r in heaven together. Bless u for being such a good brother and taking care of her for so many years.

I remember her working in the bank when I was just a child my daddy was a farmer an he done all his business their at that bank .Mrs.Edith would always had a candy bowl an she always give me candy. an she always had a big beautiful smile . She was a beautiful lady .this sad my heart . My heart an prayers are with mrs.Edith family ..may God hold each of you in his arms with warm hugs throughout this times.
