Carol and family,
I’ll miss my friend on the corner as I pass by on my walk. He always had something funny or news to share or food for thought to consider until we’d meet again.
David loved you all so much and was so very proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments and successes. Likewise, he loved golf - the game and the people who played it with him.
He entered Heaven a worthy angel ready to be in God’s presence and looking down upon you all from above with love. Have peace and assurance in that fact and be comforted by the memories you have in the days to come. May God bless you all.

Very sorry to hear of your husband's passing, Carol. 57 years of marriage is a great accomplishment, not to mention a lifetime of sweet memories that you'll always be able to hold close to you.

I never met your husband, but it sounds like he was a Godly man, a great husband, dad and friend...what better legacy to leave than that

You, your family, and your dear friends will be in my thoughts & prayers during this sad time.

Carol, It broke my heart to hear of David's departure. I'm saddened for you and family, but
sincere prayer eases the pain of sudden separation when you've been together for that period of time. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor. One of few who could be to the point serious, and yet comical all in one sentence. A rare, unique individual that was there for me at my doorstep in my time of need. Hats off to you Carol for the time you two were a team. 57 years I'm sure it took that long to make that ole rascal the man he was that I'll forever admire and respect. My sincere thoughts&prayers, Randy

My sincere condolences to Carol and the entire family. I am sure that David's family will miss him tremendously since he was such a kind gentleman and so full of wit! Yes, David will also be missed by everyone who was blessed to have run in this path.

David and his wife, Carol, were members of the same Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church-WM of which I was a member thereof. David was always kind and due to his kindness, he has most certainly left an imprint in the hearts of so many people which will always be cherished.

David will be greatly missed by all people who knew him.

Our sincere condolences to the whole family at this difficult time. We know your loss was sudden and will be deeply felt. We have you all in our prayers and know that God will surely give you the peace which passeth all understanding, that only He can. It was an honor to know your Dad, Beth. He was a great conversationalist and a true gentleman, full of wit and wisdom. He will live on in all of you every time you think of him, go the places he loved to go and do the things he loved to do.
