Charlene Peel, 80, of Paragould passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born March 16, 1942 in Jonesboro to Walter and Juanita (Martin) Futrell. Charlene was a receptionist for Safetran Systems and was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed doing genealogy and loving her family.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wayne Seats.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Richard Peel; her children, Sheila Austin, Kathryn Austin, Cheryl and husband, Tim Brennan, Thomas and wife, Kristie Brennan, Cindy and wife, Diana Vasquez-Peel, Doug and wife, Verna Peel; grandchildren, Joseph Martin, David Martin, Candace Glass, Alisyn Glass, Christopher Glass, Travis Brennan, Stephanie Brennan, Sara Schroder, Adrianna LeFeberve, Mariah and Miranda Hayes, Joseph Szathmary, Chase Grondahl, Alyssa Regets, Andrew Grondahl, Matthew Peel, Connie Lange and Nathan Vasquez-Peel; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Seva Jeter, Claudine Abbott, Christine and husband, Roger Allison.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at Fairview Baptist Church, 5611 Fairview Rd., Paragould, AR with Dennis Strope officiating.


Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mt. Home, AR
