Curtis and I have been friends all our lives. We shared many mornings drinking coffee and giving fishing reports. Since he and I had lived in East End all our lives we had a busy time keeping everyone straight at the table of knowledge on History of East End. He will surely be missed at East End Cafe. But more so by me, we could always reflect on the past History of East End. I will miss my friend. 🙏

Sincere condolences to your family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “ Jesus plainly told her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25.

We met Curtis at the Millwood Lake, & became good friends. CE & Curtis fished together, often comparing their catches. He would come very early before daylight to our campfire and a cup of coffee. We enjoyed many hours talking and laughing, telling stories about our lives. He visited our home many times on his way coming or going to the lake. We were so saddened of the news about his passing. Our love and prayers for Margie and all the family. He was a good friend we will never forget.

Such a great loss! Curtis was a true neighbor. Shared meals with us, made desserts and brought us and many others acts of kindness and care he showed to us. Our little neighborhood will not be the same. Praying for Margie and the rest of the family for strength and comfort.
