Joe Lucas, 89, of Tyronza, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at his home. He was born November 15, 1933 in Savannah, Tennessee to William Burt and Elsie Pipes Lucas. Joe was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He was of the Church of Christ belief.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George Lucas, John Lucas, Charles Lucas and Whitt Lucas and one sister, Gerneal Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Lucas; brother, Leldon "B" Lucas; sister, Shirley Lucas and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 North Pine Street, West Memphis, Arkansas with Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 PM at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Chuck Lucas, Randy Lucas, Michael Lucas, Ray Daniels, Johnny Parker and Brad Daniels.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.
