Bettye L. Bruner, 88, of Heber Springs, AR, passed away January 29, 2023. She was born July 17, 1933 in Keiser, AR to the late Charlie and Pearl Smith. She was a retiree employee of Blytheville Schools System where she worked as a secretary. She enjoyed traveling to many countries and has been to all 50 states. Bettye was recognized for her baking talents and enjoyed dancing at the senior citizen center. She was always sharing her Christian faith with her family and friends. Bettye is survived by her son: Kerry Rogers (Amy); daughters: Reba Rogers (Bill) and Vicki Glover (Danny); 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers: James Smith (Carmen), Roger Smith (Karen) and Charles Smith (Marie). Bettye is preceded in death by her husband: Jim Bruner; her parents; granddaughter: Dani Janell Lunsford; sisters: Helen Mahan and Shirley Smith.

Bettye was a sweetheart of a lady. She was always happy and cordial each time I saw her. May God bless and comfort each of her family and replace the grief and sadness with wonderful memories. On behalf of Deb, Wayne, and the entire Lunsford famiy, we love you all.

Bettye was a very loving compassionate lady who gave much joy to my father and all his family. We cherish each memory of her time with us and pray our Heavenly Father holds all of her precious family under the shelter of His wings.
