March 2, 1932 - January 29, 2023

Wanda Estep, age 90, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Harrison. She was born March 2, 1932, in Ozark, Missouri, to Orin and Mary Ruth (Wells) Baird.

Wanda was a member of Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church, previously a member of Eagle Heights Baptist for over 30 years. Wanda and Don married on September 3, 1949, in Harrison and were married until his passing in 2013. They moved to Harrison from Missouri in 1970 for Don's ministry, and together, they started a dairy operation in partnership with Hoot Gibson and worked it together for over 30 years. During that time, Don pastored two churches, Hopewell Baptist and Trinity Baptist, with Wanda by his side.

Wanda enjoyed making baby quilts for her family and church family. She also enjoyed painting tea towels, doing word searches, and doing tabletop puzzles. Her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always willing to babysit her great-grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her daughters and son, Kathy Frazer of Arlington, Texas; Ellen (Tom) Perkins of Harrison and Greg (Kathie) Estep of Royse City, Texas; her six grandchildren, Jodi (Brad) Atchley, Adam (Audrey) Perkins, Andrew (Aly) Frazer, Kimberly (Ethan) Crosby, Timothy (Sidny) Frazer, and Kevin (Jana) Estep; sixteen great-grandchildren, Abby, Kyndall, Cami, Zoe, Uriah, Asher, Ellie, Ruby, Elias, Quin, Remi, Cal, Owen, Ezra, Kaylee, Lilly, and one on the way; a sister, Sharon Mitchell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
