Virginia Mae (Tidwell) Shaw, 97, of Conway went to be with the Lord, January 23, 2023. She was born November 4, 1925 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late Joseph William and Minnie Emily Tidwell. Virginia was a loving wife, mother and granny who loved nothing more than being with her family. She was a longtime member of Liberty Holiness Tabernacle and an extreme prayer warrior. Virginia enjoyed cooking, gardening vegetables and flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack William Shaw; grandson, Andy Shaw; great-grandson, Drake Shaw; brother, William Tidwell and several more siblings.
Virginia is survived by her children, Virginia McKaskle, Jack (Sandy) Shaw, Dianne Hensley, John (Janie) Shaw, Fran Shaw (Robert Dyer), Carrie (John) Heflin-Clark, Donna (Russell) Licon, Rhonda (Eric) Shaw; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; siblings, Cecil Tidwell, Benton (Ardis) Tidwell, Pricilla (James) Meyers, Mary Ruth Ollis, Shirley Tidwell Owens and many more family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 30, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church in Conway. Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery.
I am so sorry to hear about granny's passing, this was one sweet lady, made the best yeast rolls around, to the family, your in my thoughts and prayers, i know shes dancing on the streets of gold.
So sorry for your loss, many Sunday evenings spent with Donna and Rhonda, such special memories. I ate my first stuffed bell pepper at Sis. Shaws table! She was a great lady and never seemed to mind having me underfoot! Love you girls, BIG hugs!!

Aunt Ginger ,what a beautiful Christian women! She will be missed here on earth,she was a warrior for the Lord and touched so many lives.
So very sad to hear about Granny Shaw but at the same time glad that she is now feeling the love and peace of her saviour. No more sorrow, no more tears.
John at times like these it is hard to find the right things to say for comfort, know this we have been friends for many years, I will keep you in my thoughts and Prayers. Sorry for your loss.

Just want the family to know I met Sis Shaw at church and she was a bright light to all that knew her. She loved Jesus!! I loved her! She called me over the years always asking about my family and telling me about hers! She loved her kids and grands! I will miss her so much but I know I’ll see her again!
Granny Shaw was a precious woman. She will be missed, but glad that we KNOW that she is rejoicing with Jesus!
