Glenn Oakes, 80, of Osceola passed away at his home on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was born in Bassett on November 9, 1942 to Walter Oakes and Ola Thompson. Glenn was a life long member of the Osceola Church of Christ. He was married to the love of his life, Paulette, for 62 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He had three children, David (Tracy) Oakes, Tammy Oakes Franks and Steve (Danyel) Oakes; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and fourteen siblings. The visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the Funeral Service following at 12:00 pm.
