Brian Anthony Parnell, 46, of Jonesboro, passed away at his home, January 21, 2023. He was born in Jonesboro on November 7, 1976. Brian was a 1995 graduate of Brookland High School, where he did some writing for the school newspaper. He loved listening to music, doing crafts and picking out flowers in the spring with his mother.
Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Martin Loyd and James Blair and uncles, David Blair and Stephen Garrison.
Survivors include his parents, Patricia Ann and Mickey Kimble; sister, Tina and Mitchell Latimer; grandmother, Frankie Loyd; nephew, Christian Niell; niece, Natalie Niell and aunt, Sharron and James Melton.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023, 2:00 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Tommy Herndon officiating. Burial will be at Nettleton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christian Niell, Wade Blair, Charles Spann, Blake Spann, Caden Spann, Daniel Lawson.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.
Memorials can be made in Brian's name to the United Cerebral Palsy, 1817 Woodsprings Rd, Jonesboro, AR., 72401

My buddy is walking, running, flying. That wheelchair is a thing of the past for him. Love this young man and his family.
I am shocked and so saddened as I read Tina's Facebook message. I have so many great memories of Brian. I loved him so much. So sorry for the grief his family is enduring. Prayers for comfort. I can't make it to the funeral because of my health but I will be praying for y'all. Love to all.
