We knew him as Glenn, He was a member of the perennial State Champion Track Team and made his points in discus. Rather quiet on track trips, but a font of knowledge and had many friends in unusual places. One of them was a horse trainer and bequeathed Glenn a bottle of rub we would use when working out in winter. The other notable talent Glenn possessed was a stellar method of eating the chicken which regularly showed up in our track box lunches when out of town; all he left of the chicken was dry bones! I am forever grateful for his guidance in this matter, for I have adopted his method for my own. Yes, I get some strange stares at restaurants, but my wife has become accustomed. RIP, fellow Tiger.

We were so sorry to hear about Rick's passing. We have known Rick since the 70's when we purchased our first Toyota from Rick and since then several vehicles. He was always so very kind and helpful in every way. We are going to miss him dearly. God bless him and his family.

We've known Rick for many, many years. He sold us our cars, but we thought of him more as a friend. He was such a good man! He will be missed!

Tom and I met Rick when we bought our first Lexus from him in the early '70's. We drove that little car over 250,000 miles. It would have gone on forever I think, but we thought we should buy a new car. So we went back to Rick and did just that. I don't remember what year that was. We never consider going to anyone else. Rick was so personable and treated us like royalty. I don't remember when we decided to buy another car, but we went back to Rick and he told us about another good deal- a cross-over SUV. So we bought. He also helped me find a good car for my niece who needed a car and even got Parker Lexus to finance it for her. He never let me down on any thing I asked of him. He was a fine, fine man. He will certainly be missed by many people and will forever be missed at Parker Lexus. It will never be the same there. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Sincerely,
Brenda Ball Tirrell

We bought so many cars from Rick starting in 1993 and in the process he became a friend. We first met him when we were a young married couple and had then as we had our two daughters, he was still there when we needed him. He was not only there for us when we wanted to buy a new car, he eventually was there as our daughters needed cars. He took the time to sort of teach them how to buy a car and answer all of their question. As he did with everyone, he made sure they had his cell phone in case they ever needed anything. I absolutely know that he would have answered that call and done what he could to help. There was no one like him. His stories would almost always leave you laughing. One of my favorites was about him landing his plane on the interstate - not once but twice! I'm sure that was a terrifying situation, but he managed to make it a funny story. He never failed to call and wish us a happy birthday or to check in from time to time. He was a good man and we will miss him.
Our deepest sympathy to his dear family as we know they were his pride and joy.

Rick grew up in my family. Going to school with my oldest sisterBarbara. He was the big brother I never had. He stayed in our lives all these years. He always called me as I did him. Always on birthdays and holidays. He taught me to drive a 4 speed in the floor when I was 13 years old. He took me to the circus. We went in a tent to see a gorilla that was chained and all of a sudden it got loose. Everyone including me went running out of the tent. Rick was waiting on me outside the tent laughing at me. He also took me flying. My mother loved him like her own. He always wanted my sister to make him some rice to eat. He had a drag bike back when his oldest son Richard was a baby and my husband would ride it for him. We all loved him so much!! We will miss him so much!!!

Mr Rick was such a special man. My daddy looked forward every day the scripture that he would pull up on his phone to share with daddy.

First time I met him, he came up to see daddy in the hospital and of course shared his scripture. I immediately could she he was a very special man.

So very sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a special Angel.

Prayers for comfort and strength.

When I bought one of my first Lexus automobiles from Rick, I was so impressed with his attitude and sincerest desire to make a "fair" deal for both of us. I gave him, after all was completed, a nice tie from Baumans Men Store, and he seemed to be taken aback that I would do that. He seemed to be so grateful. He truly was a salesman's salesman. RIP Rick. Fondest thoughts...Billie (Bill) Ratcliff.
