Hulan (Hugh) Ramsey, 88, of Fifty Six, Arkansas graduated from the temporal to the eternal on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Bloosoms of Mountain View. He was born August 14, 1934 to Garless and Willie Fay Sisk Ramsey. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a great example of hard work, respectability and Christian living. He was a member of the Sanctuary UPC of Mountain View and had a great brotherly love for all he met.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 58 years, Clara Jean Freeman Ramsey; daughter, Tammy Jane Frederick of Mountain View, Arkansas; sons, James Ramsey (Kathy) of Onia, Arkansas, Johnny Ramsey Boone (Beau) of Mountain View, Arkansas, Dennis Swartzell; grandchildren, Duane Swartzell, Jennifer Mann (Joseph), Catherine Reaper, Heather Pollard (Ethan), Rachel Ramsey and Joshua Frederick (Kali); two sisters, Jearldene Broyles and Rose Stephenson (Bill) and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Bobby Ramsey, Billy Ramsey; three brothers; Alvin Ramsey, HC Ramsey and Roger Ramsey and three sisters, Eunice Ferguson, Magdalene Chadwick and Aldene Wallis.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ramsey will be 11 AM Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Round Mountain Community Church in Big Flat, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Freeman Cemetery in Big Flat, Arkansas. Brothers Paul Mize and Ryan Tinkle will officiate.

Pallbearers are Joshua Fredrick, Carl Chadwick, Taylor Chadwick, Jeff Ramsey, Darrell Ramsey, Bo Cowan. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Chadwick, Bendle Chadwick.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
