James Allen Estes, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home at the age of 59. He was born December 8, 1963 in Winchester, KY to Jim Estes and Lana (Wolfe) Gray. James worked for Wal-Mart and was of the Lutheran belief. He served in the U.S. Army and loved reading, sports, drawing, horses and he was a history buff.
James was preceded in death by his mother and a granddaughter, Sarah Estes.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of James include his wife of 28 years, Renotta (Allen) Estes; his father and stepmother, Jim and Donna Estes; a son, Kyle (Courtney) Estes; a daughter, Allison Estes; five grandchildren; three brothers, Jeff Estes, Allen Estes and D.J. Estes and three sisters, Lori Sexton, Jennifer Watts and Tali Martin.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Don Martin officiating.
