"Scotty" Helton, 53 of Conway, Arkansas, raced into Heaven on January 8, 2023. He was born December 9, 1969, in Conway, Arkansas, to Billy and Bobbi Helton. Scotty was preceded in death by his brother, David E. Helton; uncle, Harold Helton; fraternal grandfather, Nathan G. Helton; fraternal grandmother, Flossie M. Helton; maternal grandfather, Howard A. Johnson; maternal grandmother, Jackie Johnson; fraternal uncle, Pat Eugene Helton.
Scotty was well known for his mechanical skills, love of the family wrecker business, and endless talents. He loved his music loud and his vehicles fast. Scotty was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren and loved every moment spent with them. He looked up to his sister (Sissie) for guidance and a lending ear. He would do anything for a hand in need and cherished every moment with his dogs. He started at Helton's Wrecker Service at a very young age, where he became the best wrecker operator in Arkansas, enjoying and learning the business. He eventually had his own business, Scotty's Auto Repair LLC., where he spent countless hours in his shop. He was spontaneous and loved any unplanned, spur-of-the-moment trip with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving family; parents, Bobbi and Bill Helton; sister, Shelley (Sissie) Young (Max); wife, Betsey Helton; daughters, Karyn Cox (Desmond), Kyndell Helton (Blake Papera), Courtney Taylor and Billy Taylor, Jr.; grandchildren, Aria Cox, Mila Cox, Tristan Cox, Kynleigh Papara, Tayden Papera. Other survivors; uncles, Leon Helton, Danny Helton (Sharon) and aunt, Marilyn (Katie) Reeves (Don); cousins, Shane Helton, Pat Reeves (Misty), Robert Reeves, LeAnn Helton, Chris Helton, Jennifer (Nikki) Hurst, Stephanie Smith (Mitchell), and many more family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. A private graveside will follow.

Scott I've known for awhile what happened and that you were gone. Yet tonight it really hit me and I realized how much I missed my friend. We have been friends since grade school. Kindred. Spirits... Soulmates... I'm glad that you are finally once and for all free. How I envy you my friend. It's such a struggle n a battle to deal with what we've had to deal with our whole lives. Although there are years of triumph there are also years of failure and defeat. Just know I get it. Please say what's up to Jesus for me and have him save me a place cause I will see u on the other side. I miss u and I've I've always loved u n the friendship we shared. I especially loved having your mother in my life. She is and always has been amazing. I hope she knows even though she lost u physically she gained an angel spiritually. You will never be forgotten. Always in my heart and memories. I smile when I think of u. Can't wait to see u on the other side.

I got to know Scotty at Sallie Cone, and he always made me smile and laugh. I remember his wearing a jean jacket in 3rd grade with ''Scott'' beaded on the back and thought how cool that was.
While we ran in different circles through our years, he was always someone I was excited to see. I guess the last time was at the bank 3-4 years ago, and it was just like old times.
I am so sorry that he is gone. My prayers with all of the Helton family.
