I am so sorry to hear we have lost such a loving and kind lady. I will keep Jeremy and family in my prayers for peace and comfort as she will be sorely missed by all. I rejoice for Valerie as she had gone home to abide in God's love and heavenly kingdom. I remember her telling me when I showed concern as she struggled with her fight "Don't feel sorry for me, I don't want your pity." This is the Valerie I knew and will miss so sorely. God Bless you dear sister, you have gone home now where there are no tears or sorrow, no illness, but only completeness and love. God Bless you Jeremy and all of Valerie's family, my prayers for you to find peace and comfort in your loss.

My sweet sweet friend Valerie, you were an example to us all of what it meant to be a Saint on Earth in all that you did. You went through so much suffering with a smile on your face. You always took time to send sweet uplifting messages and worry about others instead of yourself. You have left behind a legacy of children with the same inner strength and faith. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to call you my friend. I only wish we had more time together. I will miss you my friend.

I keep thinking of how Val would fuss at us all for showing her this much attention. That was just who she was. She gave her all in everything she did. She loved being a mom so much, and let's all be honest - she NAILED momming like she did everything else...unless it was accepting a compliment or thinking much about herself. She was genuine, humble, hilarious, crazy smart, and stunningly beautiful inside and out. We are all far better off having known her. It is not until you get to know someone like Val that you understand what is meant by 'quiet strength' and 'picture of beauty and grace'.

For her family, I will pray for you all as you navigate this loss. For my beautiful friend, I hope you rest well, love! I cannot think of another who has earned it so well! I will see you on the other side.
