Billie Jean King, age 65, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was born on Sunday, December 22, 1957 in Elaine, Arkansas to Pete and Peggy Faulkner. She was a former flight attendant for the Northwest Airlines and had a passion for airplanes and had traveled to many countries and places around the world. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing games on her phone, watching Looney Tunes, and classic tv shows and movies.
She is survived by her parents, Pete and Peggy Faulkner; three brothers, Mac Faulkner, Greg Faulkner (Donna), and Kirk Faulkner, all of Elaine, Arkansas; two sons, Richard Williamson, of Snow Lake, Arkansas and Josh Williamson, of Mellwood, Arkansas; two daughters, Lorrie Reece (Lee) and Emily; five grandsons, Brian White, Jason White, Max White, Jamie White and Josh Williamson Jr.; four nephews, Chad Faulkner, Alex Faulkner, Pud (Kaleb) Faulkner, and Mack Faulkner Jr,; uncle Bill Byrd (Linda), many cousins who were close to her heart, and former husband and close friend, Richard Williamson, of Snow Lake Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaylee Williamson, Uncle Gene Byrd and sister in law, Anna Faulkner.
Pallbearers will be Alex Faulkner, Kaleb Faulkner, Mack Faulkner, Josh Williamson Jr., Greg Faulkner and Kirk Faulkner.
A funeral service for Billie Jean King will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:oo p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Dustin Logan will officiate.
