Roy was a good man, a good sheriff. I was fortunate to serve as dispatcher for him during his 2 terms as sheriff. He always had an encouraging word.

Our sincere condolences to Victor, Kathy, Susie, and family. My late Dad, Dan Guynn worked under Roy, and taught alongside his wife,Lily-Jo, when he taught grade school at Valley Springs years ago. He had the utmost respect for them both, and always spoke so highly of them both. Don worked with Tony at FedEx a few years back.

So very sorry for your loss. I remember Mr Norvell as our Superintendent at Valley Springs. Our Mother , Linda Mason, had the privilege of working with him at Valley and also at Pea Ridge. She always had such great things to say about him and Mrs Norvell. I know he will be greatly missed. There is peace in knowing that he is participating in the celebration of honoring our Lord in heaven. May God bless your family and comfort you during this time.
