Jonathan ''Jon'' Charles Parker, age 48, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Lexa, Arkansas. He was born on Tuesday, January 11, 1974 in West Memphis, Arkansas to the late Larry Thompson and Cynthia Kay Parker. Jon was led to the Lord by Brother Dennis Wilson and was a hard-working, dependable friend to all those who knew him.

Jon was a 1992 graduate from Desoto School, after his graduation he studied at The University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Arkansas seeking a degree in Criminal Justice. He also did an internship with The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms where he hoped to start a career. Jon served in the US Army in The Airborne 10th Mountain Division and was a Combat Veteran in The Kosovo War. He was especially proud of his time he spent abroad serving his country.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Cynthia Kay Parker- Andrews and Larry Thompson; grandparents, Charles Victor and Imogene Parker; Thomas ''T-Moe'' Andrews.

Jon leaves Amy and his family to cherish his memory.

I just heard today about Jon passing. It makes my heart hurt but I know he is so happy to be reunited with his mama.
