Eddy Russell, 67, of Batesville passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022.
He was born Monday, February 7, 1955 in Batesville, Arkansas to Fred and Veda (Wolford) Russell.
Eddy, with all his mannerisms, was a common, independent individual who was always willing to help others. His family was very important to him and he loved them and his dogs very much. Eddy also enjoyed working on his farm. He worked in construction; road, residential and commercial. He always "said what he meant" and "meant what he said."
Survivors include one brother, Freddy Russell (Wilma) of Batesville; one sister, Phyllis Jean Russell of Batesville; two nephews, Stacy Russell (Rebecca) and Justin Russell (Amber) and two great-nieces, Caroline and Emma Russell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers are Stacy Russell, Justin Russell, Brian Scott, John Tucker, Justin McCarson, Shane Swaim and Jamie Ingram. Honorary pallbearers are Cameron Russell, Alvis Dodd, Brian Kimmer and Dr. Deepak Goyal MD.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Cemetery, PO Box 394, Cushman, AR, 72526.
