Davy Joe Pierce, age 79 of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Veterans Hospital. He was born on August 6. 1943, in Bee Branch, Arkansas to his late parents Jeff Pierce and Lytle Pierce Stanley. Dave was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, working, and spending time with family.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jeff Pierce, Jr., and Ken Pierce. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Pierce; two daughters, Beth Dayton (Bill) and LeAnn Sears; one son, David Pierce; three brothers, Jim (Linda) Pierce, Tony (Alicia) Pierce, and Larry Pierce; two sisters, Linda (Roger) Hornsby and Colene Selvig; seven grandchildren, Kevin Rovito, Stephanie Rovito, Madison Pierce, Savannah Sears, Sterling Sears, Jayden Dayton, and Jaylee Dayton; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. November 29, 2022, at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock with the United States Navy Honor Guard.
