Lucian King, age 97, of Flippin, AR passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, November 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 22, 1925 in Kingdon Springs, AR, a son of the late Robert Eli and Belle (Wilson) King

Lucian joined the United States Air Force I on July of 1943 where he served during World War II. He was a Life member of the VFW Lodge 1341 in Bull Shoals and a member of the Yellville Masonic Lodge #117.

He is survived by his son, Dale King of Flippin and a daughter, Janice K. King also of Flippin; former son in law, Carl McBee Sr. of Flippin; five grandchildren, Carolyn Means (Rob), Laurie King, Shelli Casey (Ashley), Joseph King (Kelly) and Tabitha Stockdale (Russell). 14 Great Grandchildren and 23 Great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clarice King; daughter in law, Linda King; brothers, Bud and Ted King; sisters, Georgie Godfrey, Willia Pruitt, Lena Due, Ada Ruth Maynard, Mary Alice Potts, Lillian Dewey and a half sister, Geneva Pangle.

Graveside service will be 2 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview with Bro. Lee Parnell officiating. Pallbearers are Russell Stockdale, Joseph King, Carl McBee Jr., Dustin McBee, Ashley Casey, T J Potts and Chris Sanders. Honorary pallbearers are Dale King, Janice King, Steve Lanphier, Carl McBee Sr., Bobby Thompson, Shawn and Lane Bogle.

Sorry to hear that my uncle Lucian passed away, he was a great uncle and loved dearly. Will always remember the good times we had when the family visited arkansas. My thoughts are also with the family.

We lost the most generous caring and loving person. He's been a great friend for many years.Even though he really wasn't my uncle I was proud to call him uncle Louie .Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear of Lucians passing. I was fortunate enough to have known him and do a lot of business with him down through the years, usually, on a word and a hand shake. He was a good man, a great Carpenter/Home Builder and a man of the utmost integrity. You could always bank on his word. My condolences goes out to Dale, Janice and the rest of the Family for their loss. May he Rest In Peace.
