Dena Vee Proffitt, 79, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas passed away November 7, 2022 with family at her side. She was born to the late Homer and Daisy (Whitlock) Webb on April 5, 1943 in Cosby, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence "Ed" Proffitt; son, Devin "HotRod" Proffitt; brothers, Dean, David, Wendell Webb and one sister, Delores "Floss" Suggs.
Dena is survived by sisters, Gail Hannah, Donita Webb; brother, Bradley Webb; daughters, Diane (Pat) Donahue of Pawnee, Illinois, Dee (Jerry) Breece of Franklin, Tennessee, Brenda (Alan) Proffitt-Wolfe of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; grandchildren; Jesse Donahue, Patrick (Andrea) Donahue, Beau Donahue, Dustin (Kyra) Jenkins, Amanda Jenkins all from Illinois and great-granddaughter, Avery Donahue of Illinois and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Manes Funeral Home in Newport, Tennessee. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Waters Large Cemetery in Cosby, Tennessee.
