Teddy easily became the center of attention in a group when he told one of his tall tales, which happened to be true! He gave the best bear hugs and made everyone around him feel good. What a wonderful long-time friend he was!

I loved Teddy’s big bear hugs and great smile. I am not a dancer so I tried to hide. But I couldn’t hide from Teddy. He was such a great dancer. He could beat you up on the dance floor. He and Melissa were such a great couple. May they be cuttin’ a rug in heaven.

It has been said that while we may not remember what people say, we will always remember how they made us feel. I always walked away from Teddy Pruitt with a smile on my face. Whether he was stopping his truck in the middle of the street to offer condolences or to tease me about carrying a walking stick, Teddy always seemed kind, caring, and upbeat. He brightened my day. My deepest condolences to Dana, Jason, and all his loved ones.

Teddy was a special guy; I knew that the first time I met him. I lived with him at ASU, as well as my brother Phillip, Fredo Hendrix , Don Betterton and Rick Stiles. I have many great memories of that time. Even though I was a little younger, they treated me like I was their brother. Teddy was easy to like and you could always depend on him. We lost one of the good guys when he passed; sending prayers to his loved ones.

Out hearts are broken learning of Teddy's passing. We loved him. He was my brother-in-law and friend. He and I shared Melissa's memory whenever we had the chance to be with each other. I know that Dana and Jason and his grandchildren are in great pain at this moment; but they will carry their dad and pawpaw in their hearts, with wonderful stories of his life. We love you all.
