Dexter Eudoris Fielder of Sedgwick passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Paragould. He was born September 10,1927 to Tonnie D. Fielder and Lillie Simpson Fielder in Fontaine, Arkansas.
Eudoris graduated from Walcott High School, then served our country in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he met and married his wife of 68 years, Arlene Best, of Seattle Washington. After their service to our country, they returned to Sedgwick and continued their education at Arkansas State College where he obtained Bachelor of Science, Masters and Specialist Degrees in Education. He taught school at Stanford, Light, Oak Grove and the last 35 years of his career at Hoxie. He also spent much of that time farming in the Sedgwick and Fontaine area.
Mr. Fielder enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an active member of Hoxie Chapter of Masons, Shady Grove Methodist Church and Hoxie Methodist Church. He and Arlene also enjoyed their son's and grandson's sports. They made many trips to St. Louis, San Antonio and NW Arkansas to attend games and visit grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Arlene; brothers, Harley and J. S. Fielder and infant son, Allen.
He is survived by a sister, Shirley May; sons, Gerald (Joyce), Jeff and Tim; grandchildren, Lindsey, Lane, Lance and Andrew and great grandchildren, Caleb, Emily, Desmond and Knox.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Hopper officiating.
Pallbearers include Lance Fielder, Lane Fielder, Andrew Fielder, Mark May, Darren May and Jeff Boothe. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation precedes the funeral service at 10:00 a.m.

He is gone but not forgotten, he will always be in our hearts. Praying for your family!!
I have such fond memories of Mr. Fielder , my husband said I was his pet ,he let me run errands during class ! Lol He made Hoxie High School a good memory ! Go Mustangs
