Sam Harris Jr, 86, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 24, 2022. He was born May 21, 1936 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Harris Sr. and Thelma Louise M Jones and brothers, Basil Harris, Roy Harris, Bobby Harris and Ross Harris. Sam is survived by his loving wife, Linda M. Harris (of 59 Years); Brother, James Harris (Wife, Cynthia); Sister, Betty Foley (Husband, Bob); Sons, Sam Harris III (Wife, Catherine), Walton Allen Harris (Wife, Marla) and Granddaughters, Jade Harris, Amber Harris, Sydney Harris and Natalie Harris.
He served in the National Guard and in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Arkansas Highway Department.
Graveside services will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 3 pm.
