Collin Dale Norman

of Conway, AR

May 22, 1934 - October 24, 2022

Collin Dale Norman, 88, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 22, 1934 in Senath, Missouri to Joseph Albert and Jesse Gill Norman. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

On April 27, 1956, Dale married the love of his life, Ceceilia Rea and they celebrated 66 happy years together. Dale had an excellent work ethic and wore many hats in his lifetime. From 1960 to 1966 he managed Conway Bowl. Afterwards, from 1966 to 1997, he worked for Conway Corporation, where he ended his career as the manager of the water and wastewater department. He received many awards for his accomplishments while in the water department.

Not only was he a hardworking man, he was a good husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family dearly. He especially loved doing things with his grandchildren. Besides teaching them good work ethic, he loved teaching them how to enjoy life on the farm, taking care of crops and animals and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ceceilia; his three children, Collin Dale Norman, Jr., (Kathy), Vickie Marie Curran (Larry) and Kenneth Ray Norman; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway at 2:00pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

Sending thoughts and prayers to your family. My father (Joel Gilmore) worked with Dale at Conway Corporation for many years. I worked with Jon for many years and he often shared stories about Dale too.
