Vivian Evelyn Booher York, 98, of Mayflower went to sleep in the Lord on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born December 15, 1923 in Dewitt, AR to the late Harry Cantrell Booher, Sr. and Violet Etta Young Booher. Vivian was also preceded death by her sons, Richard, Buryl and Leo York; grandson, Joe York, Jr. and brothers, Harry Cantrel Booher, Jr. and Frank Booher.

Vivian is survived by her sons, Ray York (Keri), Ed York, Joe York and Rick York (Jodie); brothers, June Booher, Bill Booher and Jim Booher (Pat); sisters, Maxine Davis, Violet Sue Long, Betty Martin and Patricia Wheeler; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Vivian was a long-time faithful member of Jones Hill Apostolic Church and served as piano player and singer. She was a prayer warrior who was faithful to her Lord and loved him with all of her heart. Vivian was employed as a cook at Mayflower High School for many years and every Wednesday she would cook lunch and open her kitchen to the community and her family. She also enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved going to church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Vivian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at 1pm Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with funeral services following at 2pm. Pastor Ray York and Pastor Dwayne Dycus will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery.

To all of you prayers of comfort as we all wait for our turn to join her at Jesus' feet along with countless other family members and friends. She always reminded me of Great-Grandma Young for she closely resembled her. She was so sweet and truly tickled to see me at the reunions. May God's peace rest on each one and may each of you know Jesus personally as she did. Love and prayers.

RIP Cousin , You were always so sweet to everyone. I enjoyed the night at your house eating all that good food when Pat invited me and I showed up on your amazing regular cooking night for your family. That was a few years ago but I will never forget your hospitality and the sweetness that you have passed down through your kids and grandkids etc. God has called a jewel home, and her name is Vivian. God comfort your family now ❣️ Love your cousin Mary Ann Young Hughes.

I remember growing up and being over at Aunt Vivians house so many times for dinners and what not! She lived just right down from Meemaws old place so it was easy just go hang out at her home too. Loved seeing her at church when I would go visit. Such a sweet soul. Loved her family dearly. She will forever be missed but I know she is rejoicing in heaven now! My prayers to all the family.❤️

You're resting in the arms of Jesus my Sweet Cousin. You were so Loved by all your Family near and far. You were a treasure sent from heaven. What a life she lived. She made me a wonderful neighbor. Always had me some veggie soup, the best. Loved her worship. No one will ever play the piano like Sis. Vivian. We all will miss her but she has no worries, no pain and all joy with her Jesus. Prayers for her family. No one can fill her shoes. I loved her.

of her when I was a kid because of my Aunt Clara, and my Cousin Kenneth, She was just like kin folks.
I will always remember you Mrs. Vivian, your work here on Earth is over go rest high on that mountain.
The Lord needs you to play the piano and sing up in heaven with all the other one's that went on before you. Love You Randy !
