Donna Thurman, 87, of Batesville passed away September 27, 2022.
She was born the daughter of Fred Thompson and Viola (Turner) Thompson on January 4, 1935 in Bremerton, Washington.
Donna was a member of Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 56 years and worked for White Rodgers for 27 years. She was a feisty, loving and devoted lady who enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She also enjoyed canning, gardening, sewing, painting and going to the lake.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married November 26, 1980, Jerry "JT" Thurman of the home; two sons, Scott Thurman (Tonya) of Fort Worth, Texas and Andrew Thurman of Wichita, Kansas; two daughters, Vickie Pryor of Palm Coast, Florida and Jana Vinson (Gary) of Batesville; eleven grandchildren, Michelle Allen (TJ), Billy Finnie (Cori), Jason Duncan (Carmen), Heath Duncan (Courtney), Blake Finnie (Ashley), Emilie Thurman, Heidi Thurman, Evelyn Thurman, Alena Thurman, Eric Thurman and Ashley Crawford; ten great-grandchildren, Brayden Duncan, Bryson Duncan, Olivia Allen, Trey Allen, Jaylin Duncan, Tori Finnie, Bell Finnie, Trevor Finnie, Jackson Robinson and Brooklyn Crawford, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Billy McSpadden; three sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:00am at Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rian Puckett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3895 Harrison St, Batesville, AR 72501.
