Doyl K. McCutcheonI am a Veteran.

of Mt. Judea, AR

November 29, 1934 - September 27, 2022

Doyl K. McCutcheon, age 87, of Mount Judea, Arkansas departed this life early Tuesday morning, September 27, 2022, at his home. He was born in Cave Creek, Arkansas on November 29, 1934, to Frank and Madgie Ardith (Hefley) McCutcheon.

Doyl was a Christian and attended the Church of Christ. He loved the lord with all his heart. When he was able, he was at church every Sunday to worship and visit with friends and family. He was a cattle farmer and made big pets out of all of his livestock. He loved to hunt and fish and more than anything, he loved to share his stories. Nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, friends, and strangers were all entertained by the biggest catfish pulled out of the Buffalo River, or the biggest buck killed on Horn Mountain. His greatest stories were the ones of growing up in Newton County with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Jimmie McCutcheon and Lavoyd McCutcheon; his sisters, Mary Lane, Laura Lane, and Reba Kathleen Shaddox and a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends.

Doyl was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Madgie McCutcheon, and his siblings, Gerald McCutcheon, Vearl McCutcheon, Will McCutcheon, and Bobbie Jo Bolinger.

Visitation was Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Ben's Branch Church of Christ. The funeral service followed the visitation, with Roger Greenhaw officiating.

Pallbearers were Joey McCutcheon, Jeffrey McCutcheon, Brandon McCutcheon, Jason Martin, Anthony McCutcheon, and Kevin McCutcheon.

Special thanks to the staff of Legacy Hospice.
