McDonald, Larry, age 70, of Marion passed away September 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karren Nixon McDonald, whom he married on November 27, 1970; his father, Darrell McDonald; one son, Larry "Dot Dot" McDonald Junior and one sister, Brenda Taylor. He is survived by two sons, Michael Eugene McDonald of Memphis, Tennessee, Mark Jeramy McDonald of Rockwall, Texas; his mother, Bonnie Ripper McDonald of Marion, Arkansas; two brothers, John McDonald (Jacque) and Ron McDonald (Chrissy) of Ozark, Missouri; two nieces; four nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Larry worked as a construction superintendent until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending blues festivals with his brothers, friends and other family members. Larry was an avid outdoorsman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2022 at Roller Citizens Funeral Home located at 201 Pine Street, West Memphis, Arkansas. Visitation from 11am-1pm. Funeral service at 1 pm.

I am so sorry for your loss. He is so sweet, just like Karren, just like Little Larry and everyone in the McDonald family. I can just hear him saying "Hey Sweetie'" That is a great picture of him. Even though there is joy in the thought of him reuniting with Karren and little Larry, there is sadness in the loss. Love you McDonald family.

Our families go back for a lot of years Karen and I went to school together we watched our kids grow up we all worked together moved out of town together and I have pleasant memories of Larry and Karen and the entire McDonald family am very sorry for the loss Larry and will keep each and every family member in my prayers and we will meet with our loved ones again until then keep the memories always in your heart sending love and prayers
