January 21, 1934 - September 12, 2022

Joe H. Beason, 88, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Arkansas Convalescent Center. He was born, January 21, 1934 in Jonesboro to Jack and Vera (Box) Beason. Joe worked for the Dana Corp until retirement and then worked as one of the few shoe cobblers around this area. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, camping, loved to cook, but his biggest joy was that he centered his life around his church. He was one the of founding members of The Pentecostals of Jonesboro.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joann Beason and one brother, Billy Beason.

Survivors include his only child, Mary Jo and Bobby Milner of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Matt and Holly Milner, Marc and Amanda Milner; great grandchildren, Ella Kate, Braylon, Carson Milner and Paul McDonald.

Funeral service will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 at The Pentecostals of Jonesboro Church, 5312 S. Caraway Rd., Jonesboro at 11:00 am, with Bro. Darrell Runyan officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery, Bono.

Pallbearers will be the faithful men of The Pentecostals of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 am

MaryJo, so sorry for your loss. It's always hard to let a loved one leave. Your daddy was a very nice man. He had worked on our boots over the years. Surely will be missed by many. Prayers for you and your family 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Mr. Beason repaired a couple of pairs of boots for me and I got to know him through that. He was good man and fun to converse with. My condolences to his family and may God comfort you in this time of sorrow.
