July 15, 1938 - September 8, 2022
Vernon DeWayne Eoff, born on July 15, 1938 went to be with the Lord, after 84 years of life, on September 8, 2022 at home with his family. He was born to the late Vernon Eoff and Nina Redmond Eoff in Higdon, Arkansas.
DeWayne retired from Amtran after 26 years of cutting floors for the buses. His hobbies were fishing, scrapping copper and aluminum, but most of all he loved to visit with his friends and family, telling them stories about his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tereasa Eoff and his sister, Sylvia Eoff Ibbottson.
DeWayne leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Laverne Bradford-Eoff; two sons, Larry (Elizabeth) Eoff and Gary Eoff; one daughter, Christi (Mark) Eoff Phillips and grandson, Timothy (Jera) Eoff. He also leaves behind Adam and Brent Treece, who are so loved and considered family that he was known as daddy Eoff, and many-many family and friends that he truly loved.
Laverne we are so sorry for your loss. We will never forget the love your family showed our children while you kept them for us. When I dropped them off I never worried I knew they were fine. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. My heart breaks for you '"to be with someone that long and loose them would be so hard. Please know we care and are thinking of you.
If you grew up in the 80's in Plumerville, you knew the Eoff family! We used to catch the bus there. I haven't seen Gary or Steve in a long time but never forgot them. So very sorry for your loss of your father.
