Christine Clem, 87, left this world September 4, 2022.
Christine was born February 4, 1935 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Arthur and Florence Davidson.
She enjoyed anything to do with John Wayne, chocolate and watching soap operas. Christine was strong willed and loved to give advice. She worked for Bergstrom manufacturing for 25 years and led a frugal life.
Survivors are two sons, Joe Clem of Arkansas, Phillip Clem (Mary) of Cave City; two daughters, Joanie Pearce (Dick) of Roscoe, IL, Kellie Merfeld (Robert) of Newark, AR; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman Clem; one brother, Roy Davidson; two sisters, Lottie Dixon, Jean Phillips and one grandson, Thurman Clem.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Davidson, Roy Dale Davidson, Arthur Pearce, Mitch Smith, Spencer Smith and Ricky Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are James Smith, Robert Merfeld and Kaleb Clem.
Service will be at 10:00am Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Larry Sellers Officiating.
Visitation will start at 9:00 am prior to service.
Memorials can be made to Caring Hands Hospice, 2000 Harrison St # E, Batesville, AR 72501.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our family ,Aunt Chris was one in a million from the very first time i met her she instantly stole my heart,it was like i have been family all my life,i always told her that if rick and i ever got a divorce i would get her!!!She would laugh and tell me she was fine with that and not trade me for the world because i was always going to be hers to!!!! She was so special and we will truly miss her!! REST IN PEACE OUR SWEET ANGEL

So sorry Kelli I know how it feels to lose your mom. I can say it gets easier.... but we just learn to move on with out them. I think of my mom daily. Enjoy the memories. She is with you in spirit and in your heart 💜❤️❤️😘

Philip n Mary, so sorry about your loss. I did not know Christine was your Mom. She n I were friends years ago. I thought a lot of her. I didn't know where she went when I quit seeing her. Wish I had known, when I came to pick up Brittany. Praying for all family.
