Lee Willard Megargee, 58, of Georgia, passed away on August 31, 2022 in Mayflower, AR where he was currently residing.

Lee was born in Manhasset, New York on April 30, 1964 to Richard and Louise (Ames) Megargee.

Lee was a veteran of the United States Navy. After his service he continued his education at Coosa Valley Technical College and worked for Grace Manufacturing until his retirement.

Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Tammy (Hite) Megargee and son, Lee Megargee Jr.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Louise Megargee; son, Matthew Megargee; daughters, Stacey Megargee, Jessica Darling; grandchildren, Joseph Hancock III, Clara Sims, Arianna Drysdale; sisters, Patricia Woodard, Susan Anderson and a host of other friends and family.

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at St. Benedict's Episcopal Church located at 2160 Cooper Lake Rd. SE, in Smyrna, GA, 30080 with Mother Jenna officiating.
