Mrs. Brewer was always a delightful person when I saw her as was Mr. Brewer. They were a perfect couple for each other and raised a wonderful family. Their two sons prove that they knew how to raise their kids and both David and Scott are following in their foot steps while raising theirs. I know there was a huge welcoming and rejoicing when she met up with Mr. Brewer in Heaven. I pray for the family during these times and may God bless each and everyone of you.

Mom, Gerry and our family, extend sincere condolences. Miss Glenda and Mr. Philip were so kind & welcoming when Mom joined Calvary and their strong friendship remained through the years. I was fortunate enough to get to welcome Miss Glenda to PWV and see her often. I'm sure she heard the applause of heaven on her homegoing and her laughter is ringing in the heavenlies. Until we meet again. This message is sent from Gerry with love and prayers.

I always said I love you she always responded with love you the most
She loved for me to entertain her with stories while I cleaned for her at the village
I still remember when she moved in next door and declared we were family not just neighbors

Glenda was such a special person. Though we didn’t get to see her often, it was always fun to catch up with her on the phone and hear news about many of our cousins. Loved her laugh and her kind spirit. Mom called her “Pie” for as long as I can remember because it is short for sweetie-pie.I guess that was a nickname when she was young—but it was fitting all her life. She will be greatly missed among the Gennings cousins. We send our deepest condolences to the family and pray God’s peace and love will surround you as you walk through these days.

Amy and Scott, I’m so sorry for your loss. Though I know there is great peace in knowing she is with Jesus, I know it’s still difficult as you miss her deeply. My prayer is that God will comfort you as a way only He can during this time.

She was my cousin and I loved her. She treated me like one of her own. I remember staying with her and family when I was traveling as Miss Arkansas. She offered me safety, love, encouragement and lots of laughter. I will always be grateful for her and Phillip and their sweet boys.

Our families began as friends when Phil, Glenda, and our dad, Gayle Croft, were at Arkansas College together. Many years later, our family joined Calvary (1980) and were reunited. The Brewer family is one of Calvary’s most faithful and Glenda was such a joy. I had the privilege of being in small group with Glenda the last few years and she shared how she woke up of a morning asking God for His letter to her of what she should do today. Our hearts and prayers are with your family and hope you know His peace which passes all understanding and find joy in your precious memories. What a reunion awaits us in heaven. She loved her family and was so proud of each of you. In Christ’s Love, Brenda and Gene Dorman, Kathlene, Martha and Jennifer Croft
