Norma "Jo" Watson, 85, of Melbourne passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022.
Norma was born February 4, 1937 in Fair Oaks, Arkansas to Ulyses Grant and Jewel Faye (Davis) Meredith.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Vernon (David) and Jodi Frey (Jon) of Melbourne; one brother, Murl Meredith; three sisters, Lee Jackson of Fayetteville, Marie Massengill of Selmer, TN and Faye Prater of Bartlett, TN; six grandchildren, Lisa Barnhill (Jeremy), Amy Engles (Brent), Codi Godfrey (Matt), Paige Walls (Josh), Eric Frey (Destinee) and Abby Olivencia (Jose); fifteen great-grandchildren, Makayla Barnhill, Courtlyn Davis (Jamen), Memphis Engles, Ashton Godfrey, Jaxson Lowery, Lexy Richard, Kenzie and Cecily Walls, Trinity Ni, Jaxon Olivencia, Leela Fisher, Rayna and Kai Olivencia, Landon and Korbin Frey and one great-great-grandchild, Maverick Blaylock.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, James "Pete" Watson; two brothers, John and Bud Meredith and one sister, Pat Dishion.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date, but in memory of Norma Watson, donations can be made to Marley's World Dog Sanctuary, c/o Kyle Pigman, 50 Military Road, Franklin, Arkansas 72536 or an animal shelter of your choice.

Jo was my second mom growing up, and I loved her so very much!! I remember all the times I stayed at their house on Flagg road and slept in teepees with Tammy ( my best friend) all thru school!! Jo was an amazing woman and will be missed dearly by so many!!! I love you!! Always have and always will! You will always have a special place in my heart
Whenever it was that I would see Ms. JESSE had that beautiful smile that she would carry wherever she would go and an infectious laugh that would also brighten one's life. All I know is that I will always miss her happiness. St.Peter will be happy for her addition inside the pearly gate of Heaven !

Aunt Jo, you were always such a fierce woman with a shining personality. You were always the loudest laugh in the room, and you seemed to laugh a lot. I always enjoyed my time with you. I just wish there had been more time. Every time I saw you after my mom died, you took my breath away because you looked so much like she did. Please give her a hug for me. I love you and I will miss you!
