Donna Lou Patterson, age 64, of Florence, Mississippi passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. She was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1957 in West Helena, Arkansas to Lenora Faye Sparks and the late Charles Sparks. Donna was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Church in West Helena, Arkansas. She loved crafting and animal prints. Donna enjoyed making people happy, but her greatest joy in life was her family.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary Patterson; two sons, Trevor Patterson and Gary Patterson Jr. both of Florence, Mississippi; one daughter, Stacy Durham (Jay) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Michael Coats, Drew Coats, Cassie Patterson and Ainsley Patterson; two great grandchildren, Kynlee Grace, Kori Klaire and two more on the way; mother, Lenora Faye Sparks; two brothers, Johnny Sparks (Hope) of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Thedford Sparks of Helena, Arkansas; two sisters, Charlotte Sparks of Helena, Arkansas and Cindy Sparks of Blytheville, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Sparks.
A funeral service for Donna Lou Patterson will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Roller-Citizens Funeral-Home Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service time at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Dwayne Harmon will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Gary Patterson, Jay Durham, Jason Harmon, Shaine Foley, Michael Coats and Derek Sparks.

To the Patterson and Sparks family, my deepest condolences. Lenore Rowe/Hicks was my Grandma Bessie’s younger sister, so our family spent many days visiting Bozey and Faye at their home out in the country near West Helena. Donna had married and was out on her own during the times we were in West Helena.
