Anna Elizabeth Mitchell, 93, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on August 17, 2022. She was born on September 7, 1928 to parents A.B. Gaddis and Mary V. Thorn in Arbyrd, Missouri.
Anna loved to cook and was interested and participated in quilting. Throughout her life she was a farmers wife. She did all things necessary to insure the farm ran properly. Anna was of the Baptist faith and loved God. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milon B. Mitchell; two brothers; a half-brother; one sister and two of her children, Patsy Mitchell and Steve Mitchell.
Surviving Anna to carry on her memory are her sons, Donnie Mitchell of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi and Davy Mitchell of West Memphis, Arkansas; daughters, Mila Sue Mitchell of Cordova, Tennessee and Debra Chamness of Grove Town, Georgia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service for Anna will be held at the pavilion of Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

So sorry to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. She always visited my parents EM and OlaMae Gregory in Trumann. Milan was my moms cousin. Mom was a Whitman. Prayers for strength and comfort in the days ahead. We lost mom n Nov. She was 97.
