Sherman Stanley Clifton born October 18, 1944 in Conway, Arkansas to Sherman Thomas Clifton and Gladys Maxine (Wall) Clifton, passed away on August 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Allen Clifton. He is survived by a sister, Sue (Clifton) Wilson of Conway.

We would like to thank the wonderful people who work at Conway Health and Rehabilitation who took excellent care of him. We couldn't have asked for a more caring staff and are Forever Grateful.

I am so sorry to hear of Stanley's passing. He was a kind and gentle soul when I first met him when he was 9-10 years old; I do not think he ever changed. I also loved his quirky sense of humour. He was a very special person and regret not knowing him better as an adult.

It is rightly said that "there is a time for departure even when there's no certain place to go." When the time comes, all have to depart on their own, leaving everything and everyone behind. The person who passes away has his own journey to make with the angels.
