Doris Jean Charles, 81, of Vilonia, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, August 13, 2022. She was born October 4, 1940 in Pikeville, Kentucky to Southa and Hattie Collins. Doris was preceded in death by her sons, Dwayne and Jimmy Charles; sisters, Ruth Ann Maynard and Betty Charles and her parents.
Doris was a member of Beryl Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 63 years, Roy Charles; her grandchildren, Grayson Charles (Courtney) and Jada Charles and her sister, Ruby Henson.
A Graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Crestlawn Mausoleum at 1:00PM.

Auntie Do Do . 😢I will miss you so much . Kiss Grandma , Auntie Ruth Ann , my mom, my daddy , Dwayne and Jimmy for me . Tell grandma I’m going to the reunion for her ..â¤ï¸ Tell all the rest I love them too and think of them often . People say I live in the past but those were good memories that I cherish. I loved going to your house . I will fix your sweet potato casserole in the oranges and make them pretty. I’m so sorry , Uncle Roy. I love you .

This was one of my dear cousins. She was sweet and Kind and used to come to our Maynard Reunion and we had good talks. She will be missed. We are having a moment of silence for her this weekend at our Memorial.
