Over the years I've thought about (Sister) Faye. She was my Sunday School teacher at a little church in Kokomo Indiana on Armstrong Street. I never had a better teacher than Sister Pate. She had a way of making us behave yet in such a way that we knew she loved us. I enjoyed her teaching so much. I regret that I didn't follow my instincts and try to look her up.
This precious picture is so much like the beautiful lady that I remember it brought me to tears. I missed my opportunity here, dear lady, but I will not miss you in heaven - Home at last
